QETM can also provide servicing requirements to payload 2 & payload meter 3 systems as well as terex payload systems.

ELECTRIC DRIVE SYSTEM TROUBLESHOOTING

Experienced at troubleshooting means that we can get your equipment back in service with minimal downtime. This service applies to both AC & DC drive systems and with payload meter 3 systems as used on Komatsu trucks & the payload system used on the Terex range of trucks.

CONTROL SYSTEM UPGRDES

Upgrades from Statex 2 to Statex 3 systems on your DC trucks including re-wiring of 24v systems & manufacturing new high voltage power cables. You can also take advantage of our cab rewiring service.

GRID BOX REFURBISHMENTS

Increase your trucks productivity and reliability with a grid box overhaul to include new power cables, new grids & re-tinning all your bus bar connections. Finish this off by overhauling your grid blower motor as well for maximum efficiency.

TRUCK ELECTRICAL SYSTEM OVERHAULS

GROUND FAULT VERIFICATION TESTING

Ensure that the ground fault system on your truck is functioning correctly by verification testing. This service includes a full report & verification that the ground fault system is functioning correctly (tripping at correct level & recording the fault).

INSULATION INTEGRITY TESTING

Insulation integrity tests to the power cables & the rotating equipment on the trucks. will ensure that ground faults will be kept to a minimum. This would also include any repairs to the power cables that are found during the inspection.

PROTECTION SYSTEM FUCTION TESTING

Test the many protection systems on the truck to maintain good functionality.

ENGINE PERFORMANCE TESTING

Ensure that your engine performance is at its required level by load box testing. This will also check the electrical load calibration of the control system.

Reporting & documentation of commissioning results on either new or used trucks.

6/12 MONTHLY EQUIPMENT TESTS

Regular 6 or 12 monthly statutory equipment checks can ensure all truck systems are functioning correctly.
